EVERY MEAL SERVED, SMILE SHARED, AND ACT OF LOVE MAKES A DIFFERENCE.

At The Source of Hope, we're more than a nonprofit. We're a movement for lasting change. Our mission is to empower through skills, education, and opportunity that transform lives for generations.

We're like five nonprofits in one, uniting health and wellness, outdoor education, entrepreneurship, community service, and mentorship.

"Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime."

Every effort creates stronger families and thriving communities. True hope lasts when it's shared.

VOLUNTEER FOR ONE OF OUR PROGRAMS

SERVING HOPE

Every meal served. Every smile shared. Together.

2627 South Ervay Dallas, TX

Every fourth Friday and Saturday, our volunteers gather to cook, package, and serve hot home-cooked meals to those experiencing homelessness, seniors, and students in need. Serving Hope also provides free haircuts, showers, clothing, and meals to first responders, underprivileged families, and emerging professionals. It's more than food—we serve dignity, compassion, and connection.

EDUCATION FOR HOPE

Empowering through mentorship.

Through our ILA Tutoring Program, we empower students with individualized mentorship in reading and writing. Tutors work one-on-one to inspire confidence, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning. By helping students reach academic goals, we build stronger foundations for brighter futures.

WELLNESS OF HOPE

Healing body and spirit.

1108 W Parker Rd Plano, TX

In partnership with Stone International Wellness Center, the Wellness of Hope program offers free or reduced holistic treatments—such as fire cupping, lymphatic drainage, and ear detox—to low-income families, first responders, teachers, and seniors. We believe that when the body is healed, the spirit follows—because wellness is hope in action.

SHARING HOPE

Extending love beyond borders.

2627 South Ervay Dallas, TX

Sharing Hope focuses on distributing meals, hygiene kits, and resources to other nonprofits, shelters, and community organizations across North Texas. By partnering with local missions and outreach centers, we multiply our impact—ensuring every donated meal reaches the hands of those who need it most.

HOPE FOR THE GREAT OUTDOORS

Connecting people to nature and purpose.

Led by founder Wesley Stone, a retired wildlife biologist, this program teaches outdoor education, camping, fishing, hunting, and survival skills with an emphasis on safety, stewardship, and self-reliance. Hope for the Great Outdoors reconnects people with nature and encourages responsibility, teamwork, and resilience through annual community camping trips and hands-on training.

INTERNATIONAL PARTNER SERVING

Global compassion in action.

The Source of Hope extends its mission worldwide through international partnerships providing food, educational supplies, and wellness aid to communities in Southeast Asia and beyond. By collaborating with local leaders and volunteers, we bring sustainable resources and hope to those facing poverty, disaster, and hardship—proving that kindness knows no borders.

Can I volunteer as a group?

Absolutely! We welcome group volunteers from schools, churches, clubs, and companies. Volunteering together strengthens teamwork and builds community connections.

To coordinate a group, please contact us in advance so we can plan a project that fits your group size and interests.

What if I need to cancel?

We understand that plans can change. If you're unable to attend for volunteering, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer your spot to someone else.

Your communication helps us stay organized and ensures every event runs smoothly.

Do I need experience?

No prior experience is needed! Our team will guide you through each task and make sure you're comfortable with what you're doing.

We believe every volunteer brings unique strengths, whether it's teamwork, compassion, or creativity — and every helping hand makes a difference.
